Our family had the pleasure of being in the Suns delegation as guests of the Mackay Regional Council. The Mayor, and the many councillors present, were wonderful hosts. We got to visit the Red Dog Brewery, go on a sunset harbour cruise on the Red Cat, visit Finch Hatton and learn about the new Pioneer Valley Mountain Bike Trails Project and watch the Suns AFLW side win against St Kilda at Great Barrier Reef Arena aka Harrup Park. Thanks to the Suns Corporate Team (Renee Maurer, Simon Fitzgibbon, Isobel Bedward, Andrew Thomas, Jane McGough) and CEO Mark Evans for a well-organised and enjoyable experience.
