1. Teamwork

At GANDEN we believe in the power of collaboration. By working together, we achieve more than we could individually. “A champion team always beats a team of champions.” We value diverse perspectives, actively listen to one another, and support each other’s growth. Our success is a collective effort, and we celebrate both individual achievements and team victories. Everyone at GANDEN wants to come to work and perform at their best and get recognised for their achievements. When someone is struggling we must step in to assist. We are expected to take responsibility for our work and performance. Deflecting blame to others is not part of our culture. Nobody wants to work in a toxic environment. Nobody wants to hear gossip or be a victim of it. Gossip does nothing positive and reflects poorly on the perpetrator. Our expectation is that all communications will be positive and supportive. Criticism will be constructive and constructive critisim received will be taken on board.

2. Ethics

GANDEN’s core business objectives is providing ethical improments to society, our clients, our suppliers and our staff. Integrity is at the core of everything we do. We uphold high ethical standards, treating everyone with respect, honesty, and fairness. We make decisions guided by principles, even when faced with difficult choices. Trust is the foundation of our relationships, both internally and with our clients. All staff are required to report or discuss with senior management any serious ethical issue that they become aware of.

3. Client Commitment

Our clients judge us on our last project. They have many other companies they can go to. We are judged by cost, quality and time. GANDEN can deliver all three on every project.  Our clients’ success is our top priority. We listen attentively to their needs, understand their challenges, and tailor our solutions to exceed their expectations. We build long-lasting partnerships by delivering exceptional value, consistently meeting deadlines, and going the extra mile to ensure client satisfaction. If we can’t hit our deadlines for some reason, we tell our PMs early and keep our clients informed.

4. Excellence in Communication

Clear and effective communication is essential and expected at GANDEN. We actively communicate with transparency, empathy, and clarity. Whether it’s sharing updates, providing feedback, or resolving issues, we strive for excellence in every interaction. We actively listen, ask questions, and adapt our communication style to meet the needs of our audience. We keep our clients and our project managers informed of all important project information including timeframes, changes, issues and outcomes.

GANDEN has one of the technically-strongest water infrastructure consulting and design teams in Australia. We consistently aim to be in front of the competition with innovation. We continuously invest in our knowledge and skills. Our commitment to lifelong learning ensures that we stay at the forefront of our field. We seek out opportunities to expand our expertise, embrace new technologies, and solve complex problems. We communicate our learnings with others.

8a. Quality

GANDEN has developed its strong reputation on the back of quality designs and engineering advice. Quality is non-negotiable and every submission is required to be checked by a Chartered Engineer, RPEQ, RPEng, PE or equivalent, prior to submission. We take pride in delivering work that meets the highest standards. Attention to detail and continuous improvement are ingrained in our processes. GANDEN has invested significant time in producing the Coda Project Management System, Design Management Tool, ISO accredited Integrated Quality, Environmental and OH&S Management System, drawing templates and document templates for use in our projects.

8b. Safety

Our goal is to create a secure environment where everyone feels protected. GANDEN aims for zero incidents or accidents and no lost-time injuries. To achieve this, complaince with GANDEN’s Safety Systems is paramount. We prioritize the well-being of our team members, clients, and stakeholders. We adhere to safety protocols, promote a culture of vigilance, and proactively address potential risks.

8c. Environmental Sustainability

GANDEN is involved in the process of taking water from the environment, treating it and putting it into supply. Wastewater is received and treated before returning it to the environment. We assist our clients to strive for improvements in their environmental performance, the conservation of resources and the adoption of best environmental practices. We are committed to the sustainable management of the environment while providing value for money to our clients. During our day-to-day operations we strive to reduce our environmental footprint, focussing of reducing non-essential travel and reducing power use and waste.
