Queenslanders are losing their rentals, their homes, couch surfing, or sleeping out on the streets, in a car or cardboard box. Thousands of Queenslanders, including children, are sleeping rough for the first time ever. Unfortunately, homelessness has become a terrifying reality for Queenslanders today. We’re urging corporate Queensland to come together to lead with empathy and help break the cycle of homelessness in our state. One night of your life will be life-changing for so many.

Living on the Gold Coast should be paradise, but for many Queenslanders it’s the opposite. The economic downturn over the last 12 months has seen many people – including young children – sleeping rough for the first time ever. Women over the age of 50 are the fastest growing victims of homelessness, nearly always through no fault of their own.
