GANDEN provided expert process review of the design of a new 50L/s desalination plant, 1 ML storage and associated pumping and distribution system for the Colombian Caribbean Sea island of San Andrés. The desalination plant, water storage and pumping system was built by Italian Company, Protecno for a cost of US $45,000,000. This was an important project for the nation of Colombia, financed by the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB) and its resources were locally controlled by Findeter (a Colombian government organisation).
