Bundaberg Regional Council (BRC) engaged GANDEN to provide a detailed design and documentation for the upgrade of the Gin Gin Sewage Treatment Plant (STP). The existing STP has limited spare capacity to meet future growth in the region and limited treatment redundancy.  GANDEN delivered the project within budget and timeframe and met the following Council’s objectives: – 

• Provide additional treatment capacity to cater for future growth (1,500 EP)
• Provide a treatment process that provides increased redundancy and reduces risk when compared to existing treatment
• Provide a simple, yet robust, and cost-effective solutions, and
• Reuse existing assets where practical and provide improvement in effluent quality to achieve compliance with Department of Environment and Science (DES) License conditions.
