The Childers STP required an upgrade to prevent solids washout during high rainfall events. GANDEN investigated several options and provided alternate options by repurposing existing tanks and clarifiers to enable two streams to be created. The savings provided allowed Bundaberg Regional Council to add new inlet works, new digesters and new dewatering to the project.
