GANDEN was appointed by Cairns Regional Council  to undertake condition assessments followed by detailed design and documentation for the upgrades of Sewage Pump Stations (SPS) ED6, SH1 and R19 . The SPS’s were to be upgraded to provide the following improvements: –

• Capacity upgrades to meet future flow requirements,
• Design and safety improvements compliant with Council’s latest design requirements,
• Refurbishment and protection of assets to be retained, and
• Replacement of Mechanical and Electrical assets.
